Caught in a pickle

I put W down for his normal afternoon nap. He was playing very softly and then I hear the "I am about to die" cry. I could tell something really hurt him. He was in a panic and that really put me in a panic. I flew to his room with all kinds of thoughts running through my head. Did a snake attack him (thanks to the Cravens)? Did he fall out? You can imagine. When I finally arrived in his room approximately 4 seconds later, I found this...

My first thought was...WHERE IS MY CAMERA! I know I am a terrible mom. I left my child tangled and screaming while I ran to find my camera and snap photographs. If he would just lay down and go to sleep this would have never happened!

Therapy Time!

Another day with Mrs. Sally proved to be a challenge. Little man has decided he wants to do anything but what Mrs. Sally wants to do. I think this is what they call, INDEPENDENCE! He did get some accomplished and did really well standing flat footed with assist. Woohoo Wyatt!

Easter Egg Hunt #2

Our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt was today at Rowan Oak. It was a perfect late afternoon treat. Wy and I got there early to hide eggs for all of the older kids. We had so much fun. Wy especially loved shaking the eggs with jelly beans. Next year will be a whole new ballgame for the Kings. I don't think that W will be as content relaxing in his stroller watching all the kids run by.

Easter Egg Hunt #1

Wyatt went to his first egg hunt today at the Ennis Farm! We had a wonderful time seeing Mary. Wyatt spent his entire egg hunt in someones arms. He was pretty content. Next year will be a different story. We are keeping it simple while we can! :)
As you can tell little man hasn't missed a beat with his Maywe living in Austin. He felt right at home in her arms!

Thanks for having us Mrs. Gina and Mary!

A Morning of Relaxation

We had some special visitors a few weekends ago and wanted to pull some baby things out to make the stay a little easier for them. All moms know how nerve-racking it can be going to someone elses home with a 4 month old. Gabi did great though and we really enjoyed having her! One of the objects we dug out was W's bouncy seat. He loved it as a newborn, kinda liked it as a 6 month old and hated it as a 7 month old. Here we are at 15 months and he is back in love. He can lounge, he can climb, he can bounce and he really makes Momma a nervous wreck!

Therapy Tidbits

Little man had a "not so productive" therapy session today...It happens. He did happen to LOVE this exercise. Not much but just a little Monday happy.

Guess who is back...

Momma bird has made her arrival!
Woohoo, the Kings are so excited! Call me old, but I love to watch them!
Don't worry, I will keep you updated on the Bluebird family.
