Lynnlee Reese King

Lynnlee Reese made her arrival on March 19, 2012 at 2:26 pm.  She was very comfortable in the womb and we had to force her arrival by induction.  I arrived at Baptist Womens in Memphis at 7:00.  After the admission process, they started my IV and pitocin at 9:00.  Dr. Sullivant was on call and broke my water at 9:30.  At this time I was only 2 cm.  We figured it would be late afternoon/early supper time before we had a baby. Contractions picked up, epidural was in and things fell right into place! at 1:50 I was 5 cm and by 2:10 I was begging to push. Lynnlee Reese made a very easy and quick arrival which is a huge blessing!

Happy 2nd Birthday Wyatt!

Happy Birthday Sweet Wyatt!  We can't believe you are already two!  You have been the biggest blessing to your Mommy and Daddy!  It is hard to even put into words how far you have come in the last 2 years.  You have over come so many obstacles and have truly amazed your family, therapist and Doctors!  We are still visiting Mrs. Sally for physical therapy and Ms. Jonnie for Speech.  Two days a week, you get a break from Mommy to go play with friends at Mothers Day Out which you also love.  Your strong will and determination have really helped you out and even caused you to be in trouble some too.  :)

We celebrated your birthday with close friends and family and you had a blast!  It was snowman themed and Mommy was really hoping for snow.  Last year on your birthday weekend we got more than 5 inches of snow.  No snow this year, but you were still happy!  You very sweetly say, "man" for snowman with the most southern drawl.

We love you Wyatt and can't wait to have more birthday parties in the years to come!

Wyatt's first haircut

We set out early this morning for breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then headed to get my very first haircut. I was such a good boy and sat very still in my Daddy's lap. Mr. Don of Don and Dales really fixed me up! Momma can't get over how big I look!

Halloween 2011

It was another spooky Halloween in Oxford for me and my friends. This year, I was a monster. Not a scary monster but a really cute monster! Mommy loved my costume.

My Halloween started off with a party at school and I had so much fun. Mommy was there t
o party with us and I had the best time digging into the iced cookie and making a huge mess! It was fun to see my friends in all of their costumes.
Mommy and Daddy got my special pumpkins carved and I was so proud. They were just for me!

Once the moon came out, my friends Jack and Witt came over dressed as Dinosaurs and we got to go Trick or Treating. It was really fun getting candy and eating it right away! I learned very quick that I love sweets!
I hope you had a spooktacular Halloween as well!

Big Talker

I guess you can say I gave up on my game. I use to think it was so funny to not say anything anyone asked me to say. This game was even more fun when my speech therapist would leave. As soon as she shut the door I would always say, "BYE", but I was a mute the whole time she was there! I have picked up on the fact that it is much more fun to talk and use my words. It is amazing. Every time I say, "Eat" I actually get something to eat! I love it! Here are some of my words that I like to use:

Hey
Bye
Eat
Drink
Momma
Da
Cat
Dog
Duck
Ball
Stick
No
Move
Play
Bath
Night Night

Maybe if Momma is quick enough she can get some video footage!

Lions, Tigers and Bears...Oh My!

Today, we went to the Memphis Zoo and it was a lot of fun. I got most excited about things that were NOT animals. I don't understand what is so great about a fat cat that sleeps in the corner all day. I got to attend the Seal show and it was a lot of fun. Those seals are so smart and did exactly as told.

It was a great day with my Momma, Dada, and Lala!
