Dr. G was a little concerned with my legs and wanted a to get a pediatric orthopedic Dr. to look at me. She worked her magic, again, and got us right in to see Dr. S. It was my first time to Campbells clinic but mommy has been there several times she says. We waited and waited and waited. My Lala got to go with us. It is a good thing she did because momma would have never been able to keep up with. I had so much energy, even without a nap! We waited for nearly two hours. Finally they took me to another room that had big metal machines. They call it the x-ray room. The lady was pulling my hand all over the place and I did not like it one bit. I started playing a game with her. She would put my hand exactly where she wanted it and then run to a button. As soon as she got to the button I would jerk my hand away. It was so fun for me but stressful for my Momma. Then Lala saved the day with a SUCKER! My very first sucker...a blue raspberry! It was so yummy. I just did so well then. Whatever they wanted me to do, I did, as long as that sucker was spinning in my mouth!
Dr. S. said I was just fine from his perspective. All my bones and joints are forming perfectly for a 15 month old. He told me to keep trying to walk and some progress was better than none! I am going to probably be stubborn for a little bit longer then I might walk all by myself!
I am a really lucky boy to have such nice doctors. I know they really care about me!
When we were walking out of the clinic I saw a momma duck and her ducklings. There must have been a dozen of them. They were so cute. They were waddling right behind momma duck trying to find water. Momma duck was not being nice because she kept making the babies jump the curb. It was really hard for me. My Momma put me in the car and we blocked the road so the duckies wouldn't get hit! I really wanted one for Easter but Momma said NO!
much love from a sleepy boy,
Wy
