Today, I had my very first MRI and hopefully my last.
Momma and Dada woke me up super early and we went downtown. I was so happy in the car because they were not forcing me to drink one thing. I should have known it was all too good to be true. Once we got there we were shuffled around and I got to see some really neat artwork and statues. It was so fun. We were put back in a room and they put this cute green gown on me. Momma said she wore one that was yellow when she was a kid. Momma and Dada were kinda emotional while we were in the room and I was perfectly happy.
Then it came time for the MRI. Momma carried me back to this room with a really big machine. They laid me down on the table and then slapped this mask on my face. I was screaming and before I knew it I was in lala land. . .literally, I was probably dreaming about playing with my Lala. The very next thing I knew, I was in Mommas arms and I was swinging arms all around. They had a cuff on my leg checking my blood pressure and an IV in my hand with IV fluids going. My mouth was so dry I could hardly make a sound. The nurse was telling Momma all about the tube they put in my mouth to help me breathe. It is a good thing I got some good medicine to sleep. I don't know why there was so much fuss, because I did just fine. Momma and Dada gave me such tight squeezes when I got back. I was just as proud to be back with them as they were to have me back!
Thanks for praying for me today.
